The biggest University of Calgary alumni event of the year is back with 10 days of exciting in-person and virtual sessions, activities and special offers.
Hosted by the UCalgary Alumni Association, Alumni All-Access runs from Oct. 12 to 22 and is open to everyone — alumni, community members and their families. Space may be limited on some events, so we encourage you to register as early as possible.

Arch Awards Dinner Oct. 12
Alumni All-Access launches with the 2023 Arch Awards Dinner in MacEwan Hall. This year, eight outstanding alumni will be recognized in the six Arch Award categories. This year’s recipients are Edie Adams, BSc'85, MEDes'90; Dr. Jennifer Hatfield, PhD’01; Aaron Renert BSc'92, MSc'93, LLB'98, BEd'03 and Dr. Moshe Renert, BSc'85, PhD; Matthew Brister, BSc’81 and Tara Brister, BSc’82; Leah Schmidt, BA'17 (Women's Studies), BA'17 (International Relations); and Dr. Madeleine Cole, MD’98. As with past years, this event will also be live-streamed.

A 4-Decade Journey from Cross-Cultural Education to Anti-Racist Education Oct. 12
Join the Canadian Association for the Prevention of Discrimination and Harassment in Higher Education (CAPDHHE) for the keynote session of its annual conference. As part of Alumni All-Access, we’re offering a limited number of seats to alumni to attend. Science in the Cinema: Inside Out Oct. 14
Back by popular demand, this year’s Science in the Cinema screening features Inside Out, an animated feature about a hockey-loving 11-year-old named Riley who has been moved from her Midwest life in Minnesota to California. Her emotions — brought to life and named Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness — have different ideas about how best to navigate this life-changing event. This screening takes place at the Plaza Theatre in Kensington with free admission and popcorn. Afterward, join UCalgary researchers for a panel discussion and Q-and-A.

Marguerite Schumacher Memorial Alumni Lecture Oct. 14
Help us celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Marguerite Schumacher Memorial Alumni Lecture, presented by the Faculty of Nursing, at the Grey Eagle Resort and Casino. The event will feature Debbie Smith, BN'94, Siksika First Nation member and co-ordinator of Iiyikinaami — Spirit Helper, as she leads you through her personal journey into Canada’s Indigenous health-care traditions and practices.
