- Developing D2L course shells, including organizing content, building quizzes and assignments, creating discussion forums and setting up gradebooks
- Recording lectures using YuJa, Zoom or PowerPoint
- Managing Zoom sessions, including scheduling and hosting, troubleshooting issues, meeting settings and recordings, and breakout rooms
- Creating resources to support the use of learning technologies
- Testing out new technology, features and/or workflows outside of class time
Teaching Support:
- Designing or redesigning courses, including learning outcomes, assessment strategies, and course structure aligned with UDL
- Navigating generative AI in teaching and assessment
- Facilitating conversations on academic integrity, including post plagiarism approaches and creating a culture of trust with students
- Developing and delivering workshops and programming for instructors and graduate students
- Applying Indigenous ways of knowing and ii'taa'poh'to'p principles to course and curriculum design
- Creating instructor-facing resources, guides, and rubrics to support pedagogical decision-making
- Consulting one-on-one on instructional design challenges, from a single assignment redesign to a full program review
