Honorary degree and OTUC recipients announced for June convocation
We are pleased to announce our honorary degree and Order of the University of Calgary recipients for June convocation ceremonies for the faculties of arts, business, education, engineering, environmental design, graduate studies, kinesiology, medicine, nursing, science and social work.
The honorary degree, the Doctor of Laws, is the University of Calgary’s highest academic honour bestowed upon individuals whose notable achievements and community service merit recognition. These distinguished individuals will address our graduating class during the June convocation ceremonies, sharing words of wisdom gained through years as leaders in their field.
Individuals who are recognized with The Order of The University of Calgary have a history of distinguished service to the university and are widely recognized as university champions and supporters.
