Classrooms are closed and staff are working from home. But the 2021 edition of convocation carries on — virtually.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, such as limits on indoor gatherings, the University of Calgary abandoned traditional in-person graduation ceremonies in favour of an online event. The speeches were delivered to a camera instead of a crowded gymnasium. Only one student walked across the stage … Rex.
