Developing Your Teaching Dossier (Workshop Materials)

Dossiers present an integrated summary of our philosophy, approaches, achievements, and contributions to teaching and student learning. The goal of the Developing Your Teaching Dossier session is to provide an opportunity for participants to actively explore the process of creating a dossier for the University of Calgary Teaching Awards Program.

By the end of this session, participants are able to:

  • Reflect on and articulate your beliefs about teaching and learning
  • Describe the key components of a dossier
  • Select and present data and documentation that provide evidence of the scope and quality of your practice
  • Prepare a dossier that aligns your core beliefs to the scope and quality of your practice
