The Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) is about connecting teaching, learning, and research in our own courses and across campus. SoTL is exciting because it is transdisciplinary and collaborative — it connects and brings together undergraduate students, graduate students, postdoctoral scholars, staff, and faculty from all parts of campus.
In this online module, you will explore opportunities to build your SoTL community, create your own SoTL project and build an ethical framework for your work.
You will be able to:
- Join a SoTL community and engage in conversations about teaching and learning with colleagues from a range of disciplinary backgrounds
- Develop a project proposal for the University of Calgary teaching and learning grants program
- Reflect on your own and support others in ethical practice in SoTL
In this module, you will find:
- 3 lessons
- 4 activities
- Additional readings and resources
