Biography

Zaara is an Experiential Learning Assistant within the Office of Experiential Learning, where she contributes her robust problem-solving, collaborative, critical thinking, interpersonal, and analytical skills acquired through coursework, volunteer work, and paid positions. Currently a fourth-year BSc. Psychology student, she is engaged in a year-long Co-op Internship at the Taylor Institute of Teaching and Learning.

In her capacity, Zaara collaborates closely with the team to manage and facilitate various projects, events, and award distributions, with her relentless work ethic and proactive approach. She plays a pivotal role in organizing workshops, communicating with students, and participating in the evaluation of annual project cycles related to undergraduate research initiatives.

Zaara finds comfort in the beauty of the outdoors, immersing herself in summer adventures such as hiking and camping in the woods with her close friends. Embracing an active lifestyle, she engages in various pursuits such as exercise, artistic expression through painting, and adventurous activities such as downhill karting, ice skating, or playing badminton and tennis. Recently reignited, her passion for reading novels has led her on a commendable literary journey. Known for her enthusiasm for learning and experiencing new things, Zaara is always ready for engaging and heartwarming conversations.
