EL Platform Administrator
Ashton is building and supporting the new campus-wide platform for Experiential Learning (EL). A common platform for managing EL is essential as we strive to ensure that by 2025 all undergraduate students will have at least two high-quality EL experiences before graduation and all graduate students in a degree program will have the opportunity to participate in at least one high-quality EL experience.
Biography
Ashton draws on his experience as an Orbis Platform administrator, first at Simon Fraser University (SFU) and later at UCalgary's Werklund School of Education. While at SFU, Ashton also worked as a teaching assistant in business communications and business process analysis and design. Ashton is a graduate of SFU and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a minor in Computer Science.
