Role

Community-Engaged Learning Specialist

Laurel works closely with the Experiential Education Team, engaging with community partners, academic staff and the broader TI team to develop resources and processes to support the integration of community-based projects with courses.

Biography

In this position, Laurel leverages her experience in teaching and learning and community engagement. She was formerly a teaching and learning coordinator in the Haskayne School of Business, and has served as liaison between the university and the Calgary Public Library and as a graduate teaching assistant with the Department of English supporting and evaluating a course on community engagement through literature.
