Educational Development Consultant

As an educational development consultant, Lisa collaborates with colleagues, faculty, postdoctoral scholars and students to guide and support postsecondary teaching and learning. She is an academic staff collaborator and facilitator for workshops, programming and resources related to the Taylor Institute’s Certificates in University Learning and Teaching, and Teaching Assistant Orientation. Lisa is currently a board member on the University of Calgary’s Conjoint Faculties Research Ethics Board, acting as a liaison between SoTL researchers and ethics protocols. 


Biography

Over her career, Lisa has taught in a variety of educational contexts locally and internationally, and for the past decade she has focused on the study of adult learning in higher education. Her doctoral research examined cross-cultural professional development from the perspective of international visiting scholars.
