Conference Proceedings

Delegates are invited to submit their proceedings from the Conference on Postsecondary Learning and Teaching to Papers on Postsecondary Learning and Teaching (PPLT) and/or PRISM. Before submitting your document(s), please read the guidelines.

Papers on Postsecondary Learning and Teaching (PPLT)

Papers on Postsecondary Learning and Teaching (PPLT) is a peer-reviewed and open access publication, of proceedings from the University of Calgary Conference on Postsecondary Learning and Teaching. 


Submit to PPLT

All presenters at the University of Calgary Conference on Postsecondary Learning and Teaching are encouraged to submit a paper, developing and expanding upon their conference presentations for publication in PPLT.

The 2019 deadline for PPLT submissions is July 31, 2020.

What are the benefits?

Three volumes of PPLT have been published since 2016 and are available through the Open Journal System. PPLT provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. This publication is indexed in Google Scholar, with more indexes pending.

PRISM

PRISM is the University of Calgary’s Digital Repository. It is maintained by Libraries and Cultural Resources to manage, preserve and make available the academic works of faculty, students and research groups. Learn more.


Submit to PRISM

All conference delegates are encouraged to submit documents related to their presentations to PRISM. Documents can include a PowerPoint presentation (PPT), poster, session handout and other artefacts. PRISM documents are not peer reviewed. Participants are encouraged to submit to PRISM before the conference or anytime following. A DOI (digital object identifier) is issued and you can provide this to conference delegates.

PDF is the preferred file format for PRISM submissions.

What are the benefits?

Proceedings deposited in PRISM are indexed in Google, Google Scholar, University of Calgary libraries and more, increasing the reach of your academic work worldwide. Your work will be preserved over time with the University of Calgary and you will get a permanent URL for each item. You will also be able to access views, downloads and other metrics to understand how your work being used.
